Growing Mondays: The stars are bright
The light is changing

This morning I saw the stars, brighter than I’ve seen them in a long time. It might have been a result of the dark of loadshedding, but it also felt like the light is changing.
So even though it’s really hot, the shorter daylight hours are a sign of hope for us.
We are getting closer to planting next week. It still feels painfully hot, but I know that we can plant everything out, and that the new season is beginning for us.
It’s a good time to clear slowly if you’re in a hot dry climate, so that you can compost and renew the life in the soil.
