Growing Mondays: Be courageous

Last Growing Monday of the year!

Hi! I'm Jo, writing from Heart & Soil homestead, a 1-acre homestead in the Far South of Cape Town, South Africa. Every week I share inspiration and education for your growing journey. Thanks so much for reading!

Welcome to Growing Mondays, where I talk about growing- vegetables, fruits, animals and, well, people.

…be realistic. Be courageous. Be true to your nature and offer your trust. Do good in broad daylight, and don’t be ashamed of your generosity. You may be dismissed as gullible and naive at first. But remember, what’s naive today may be common sense tomorrow.

One thing that’s certain this time of year is that there’ll be wind. So we create a plan for the wind, so that it doesn’t destroy what we’re growing. (windbreaks, extra watering, low-lying plants, etc.) Maybe that is pretty much life. Riding out rough winds together.

So here’s to 2025. I wish for all of us hopefulness, a sense of time, abundance, rest, and energy to do good things and keep growing. Here’s to you and your growing journey. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your life, via email.

It is good to repeat and review what is good twice and thrice over.
